Monthly Report - December 1998

The Evans Police Department purchased a Mobile Radar Display Station which became operational in December 1998. The Display Station, which sits on the outside of a police vehicle, or in the back of the 4x4 Police Vehicle, gives motorists a clear, digital readout of their speed.

It is hoped that the Display Station will be effective in helping control the speed of traffic through an area and is available, upon request, for areas where speed control is considered a safety issue.
