Dog Control Office

Since July 1, 2009, the Evans Police Department’s Dog Control Officers have taken over the duties that were previously handled by the Erie County S.P.C.A. All questions regarding missing dogs should be directed to the Evans Police Department.

REAP Program

Help Combat Opioid Abuse Epidemic – Do you want to make a difference in our community? Can you spare a few hours a month to help someone in need? We need ANGELS to help support persons struggling with opiate addiction enter the REAP program.

Citizen Police Academy

The Town of Evans Police Department Citizen Police Academy was established in 2010 and is a community-oriented program designed as a way for the public to learn about Police Department operations and the duties of Evans Police Department personnel; and as a means of strengthening the relationship between police officers and the citizens we protect and serve.

House Checks

As a community service, the Evans Police Department conducts security checks for residents, at their request, while they are away from their home for any length of time.

Neighborhood Watch Program

Neighborhood watch is an organized effort by concerned residents to look out for each other’s safety, and to help law enforcement officers protect people and their homes against criminals.
