Today, the Evans Police Department consists of 25 sworn officers, 23 full-time, 2 part-time; 16 dispatchers, 8 full-time and 8 part-time; 2 clerical, 1 full-time and 1 part-time; 2 dog control officers, 1 full-time and 1 part-time; 5 part-time police matrons; and 1 crossing guard.
