Awards
Officers Patrick Atler and Brian Kauzala were the Evans Police Department recipients of the Erie County Stop DWI Award at the Nineteenth Annual Erie County STOP-DWI Awards Breakfast on April 30, 2010.
Training
Annual range training took place in April, which included training with department issued Glocks, AR15 assault rifles and shotguns.

Evans Police Dispatchers took 2,523 complaints for the month of April 2010.

- Fifteen prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police lockup in April 2010.
- One-hundred and thirty-one police reports were filed and 16 accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
- Evans Police Officers issued 242 simplified traffic informations and 7 parking tickets in April of 2010 including:

Detective Bureau
Seventy-three people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. There was 8 arrests for DWI in April.
Dog Control
Eight appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control office.
