Twenty patrol officers attended a refresher Defensive Tactics Training course by instructor Deputy Ernie Hey from the Erie County Sheriff’s Dept.

Evans Police Dispatchers took 2,401 complaints for the month of April 2011.

- Ten prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police lockup in April 2011.
- One-hundred and eighteen police reports were filed and fifteen accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
- Evans Police Officers issued 198 simplified traffic informations and 6 parking tickets in April of 2011 including:

Detective Bureau
Fifty-four people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. There were 5 arrests for DWI in April.
Dog Control
Six appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control office.
