Commendations

Patrolmen Dennis Feldmann, Daniel Eppolito, Douglas Czora, and Dispatcher Tina Powell received a letter of commendation on August 10th, 2006, for dedication and attention to duty in the successful apprehension of a subject operating a motorcycle in a reckless manner. Due to the coordinated response of all personnel, this incident ended without injury to anyone.

Evans Police Dispatchers took 2,243 complaints for the month of August 2006.

Thirty-one prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police Lockup in August 2006.
One hundred and forty-six Police Reports were filed and twenty accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Evans Police Officers issued 317 simplified traffic informations in August of 2006 including:

Detective Bureau

Seventy-six people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. Seven people were arrested for DWI.

Dog Control

Fifteen appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control Office.
