Commendations

Officers R. Maslach, T. O’Donnell, B. Green Jr. and Acting Lieutenant D. Czora received a letter of commendation on March 15, 2005, for outstanding performance on March 11th for the arrest of 2 subjects for felony drug possession. Forty bags of heroin were recovered as a result of a traffic stop for a headlight out.

Officers R. Maslach, B. Green Jr., and Acting Lieutenant D. Czora received a letter of commendation on March 15, 2005, for outstanding performance on March 11th for the arrest of 1 subject for felony drug possession. Three containers of suspected cocaine were recovered when a vehicle was stopped for not using proper turn signals in front of on-coming traffic.

Officers D. Eppolito, M. Masullo, and Leiutenant D. Hepkins received a letter of commendation on March 15, 2005 for outstanding performance on March 12, 2005, for the arrest of 1 subject for felony drug possession. Approximately 2 pounds of marijuana, loritab and morphine pills were confiscated from the suspect at Tops Market in Derby.

  • Twenty prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police Lockup in March 2005.
  • Fifty-eight Police Reports were filed and twenty-five accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Detective Bureau

Thirty-one people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. Five people were arrested for DWI.

Dog Control

Twelve appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control Office.
