Commendations
Detective Ernest Masullo and Lt. Detective DeJohn received a letter of commendation on May 19, 2005, for outstanding performance on April 15th, 2005, for an arrest and clearance of a business burglary at 8193 Erie Road.
Dispatcher Patrick Garrigan received a letter of commendation for outstanding performance on May 7, 205 when he maintained phone contact with an individual threatening harm to himself or another person and then talked the subject into coming out the door to waiting patrols.

- Twenty-three prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police Lockup in May 2005.
- Eighty-nine Police Reports were filed and twenty-eight accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
- Evans Police Officers issued 286 simplified traffic informations in May of 2005 including:

Detective Bureau
Forty-three people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. Nine people were arrested for DWI.
Dog Control
Eighteen appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control Office.
