Monthly Report – May 2010
Marine Division
During the month of May, the Marine Unit has been training with the U.S. Coast Guard (Buffalo). During the boating season, the Evans Marine Unit the U.S. Coast Guard will be conducting joint operations on Lake Erie.

Evans Police Dispatchers took 2,751 complaints for the month of May 2010.

- Twenty-eight prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police lockup in May 2010.
- One-hundred and ninety-two police reports were filed and 19 accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
- Evans Police Officers issued 257 simplified traffic informations and 4 parking tickets in May of 2010 including:

Detective Bureau
Eighty-eight people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. There was 11 arrests for DWI in May.
Dog Control
Ten appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control office.
