The Town of Evans Police Department sadly mourns the tragic loss of Police Officer Frederick Garrasi III who died suddenly on May 3rd, 2013. Fred was 24 years old.

- Twelve prisoners were held in the Town of Evans Police lockup in May 2013.
- One-hundred and two police reports were filed and 18 accidents were reported to State of New York as reportable accidents under the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
- Evans Police Officers issued 175 simplified traffic informations and 4 parking tickets in May of 2013 including:

Detective Bureau
Twenty-nine people were arrested, mostly for violations of the New York State Penal Law, Alcohol Beverage Control Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law. There was 1 arrest for DWI in May.

Three appearance tickets were issued from the Dog Control office.
