Today, the Evans Police Department consists of 28 sworn officers, 24 full-time, 4 part-time; 12 dispatchers, 8 full-time and 4 part-time; 2 clerical, 1 full-time and 1 part-time; 3 dog control officers, 1 full-time and 2 part-time; 3 part-time police matrons; and 1 crossing guard.
