During the month of May, the Marine Unit has been training with the U.S. Coast Guard (Buffalo). During the boating season, the Evans Marine Unit the U.S. Coast Guard will be conducting joint operations on Lake Erie.

Awards

Officers Patrick Atler and Brian Kauzala were the Evans Police Department recipients of the Erie County Stop DWI Award at the Nineteenth Annual Erie County STOP-DWI Awards Breakfast on April 30, 2010.

Training

Annual range training took place in April, which included training with department issued Glocks, AR15 assault rifles and shotguns.
